The language tandem is an ideal solution for learning a language and practicing it flexibly. The national e-Tandem electronic platform allows you to quickly find a learning partner. It brings together a large community from nine universities (HES-SO, BFH, UNIL, UNINE, UNIBE, EPFL, HEP VS, HEP BEJUNE, PH Bern).

Discover the essentials of artificial intelligence and learn how to use it responsibly in your studies and professional practice.

Key content – 8 thematic modules:

• Types of AI, functionalities, and applications
• Machine learning and neural networks
• Risks, limitations, and ethical, societal, and environmental challenges

HES-SO Master offers 5 online courses to help you acquire efficient study methods. These courses are offered from 12:30 to 13:30 on Monday or from 12:30 to 13:30 on Fridays.

• Course 2: Group work and conflict management
• Course 3: Concentration and study reading
• Course 4: Report writing and oral defense

The Digital Skills Center at HES-SO has created short online courses for students. This initiative aims to better understand the themes and challenges related to "teaching in the digital age."

A first set of FlashLearns is available on the numerique.hes-so.ch platform. These provide clear and engaging access to topics such as:

• The role of students in the digital age,
• Proctoring,
• Conspiracy theories,
• Social media addiction, And many others...

Each FlashLearn offers short video resources and a quiz. Participants receive a certificate confirming their successful completion of the micro-learning course.

The HES-SO gives you access to the ENI e-learning training platform. You will find courses in various formats (videos, audio, PDFs) covering different fields such as Data, Cloud, Security, AI, Marketing, and Office tools. 

You can access it with your HES-SO account.

The HES-SO Sustainability platform offers free online courses on sustainability. 

Career Women is an initiative from the Economics and Services department of the HES-SO. Its main mission is to provide female students and graduates of HES-SO with practical tools to enhance their career opportunities. Free workshops are organized every year.

The Innokick Master's program gives you access, upon registration and subject to availability, to the Career Differentiation Module courses, delivered primarily online.
