The SwissCanSat competition was an educational initiative that brought together teams of secondary school students over two editions to design, build and launch their own miniature satellite. The competition ended in April 2023.

Mission

The teams' objective was to build a CanSat and program it to accomplish the primary mission of measuring air temperature and pressure after release and during descent. The secondary mission of the CanSat was defined by the team. Teams could take ideas from real satellite missions (for example see ESA’s missions).
