Ilham Qasse spent the entire months of July and August 2019 in SPLab at Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

In July, she focused on the first subtask - quantitative analysis of “DApps“ repositories such as State of the Dapps. In particular, she

  • programmed scripts to automate fetching metrics on repositories
  • contributed to a research blog post on July 22
  • gave an internal talk about the ongoing work to the research group on July 25
  • started co-authoring a scientific article on her work together with the supervisor

In August, the second subtask - developer acceptance of reports on quality deficiencies and suggested improvements - also got into the focus. The particular activities have been

  • improvement of the script to be more reliable and usable for automated daily scraping
  • publication of scripts and data
  • seminar talk at the ZHAW/ZHdK building in Zurich with industrial participants on

August 29

  • second research blog post related to the talk
  • developer survey on quality assessment of digital artefacts
  • almost finalisation of the scientific article to be submitted to IEEE DAPPS 2020 ; the article will be concluded during until October 2019 and later extended into a journal article
