Numerics in Geotechnics and Structures 2026

Numerical simulation in geotechnics, constitutive aspects, soil-structure interaction and associated structural analysis with emphasis on present and future engineering practice: theory, applications, case studies, failure analyses, optimization, probabilistic approaches.

The symposium combines invited presentations, and contributions by ZSoil users and others. It has been taking place every year in late summer over the past twenty years, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, in Lausanne and newly at Haute Ecole d’Ingénierie et d’Architecture de Fribourg.
