From knowledge to action

University hospitals play a leading role in acute care when it comes to implementing new knowledge.
The LORE research group enables long-term care facilities to assume a comparable leadership role.
These facilities are supported in developing care through implementing knowledge.
Nursing development involves the continuous enhancement and adaptation of person-centred nursing practices to guarantee that individuals in long-term care facilities receive evidence-based, person-centred care. Adopting a person-centred approach, the LORE research group works with long-term care providers to prioritise resident safety, psychological well-being, and partnership-based cooperation between professional groups and with relatives in care development. This approach strengthens employee retention among long-term care providers.
To enable nursing homes to afford the services of APN-CH nursing experts from the LORE research group, their deployment can be partially refinanced by interRAI LTCF.
