The Master of Science HES-SO in Life Sciences is offered in cooperation with three other Swiss universities of applied sciences. This cooperation enables students to exchange their professional experiences and expand their personal networks with central modules: entrepreneurial basics (located in Spiez, BE) and extended theoretical basics (located in Bern).
The curriculum is divided into four blocks: entrepreneurial basics (3 x 4 credits, three intensive weeks in Spiez), extended theoretical basics (6 x 3 credits, Thursday and Friday in Berne during 3 weeks), courses related to the particular specializations (5 x 4 credits, one or two modules can be also common between two majors, each module is 1 day (Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) during one semester), and the Master's thesis project including the Research proposal & Bibliography (4 credits), the Master Thesis major (6 credits), and Master's thesis itself (30 credits, full time during the last semester).

The MSc HES-SO in Life Sciences is internationally recognised, and opens up improved employment perspectives at higher levels of responsibility compared with the BSc, in
